Impact of Our Work
In the vibrant communities surrounding Arusha, Tanzania, access to clean water has long been a daily challenge. Walking miles to collect fresh water took precious time from families and students alike, creating obstacles to health, education, and opportunity.
Through a meaningful collaboration with Well Aware, Vern Lal Global Foundation helped bring a new borehole and supporting infrastructure to New Hope School and its neighboring villages. This well has become much more than just a water source, it is a source of hope and transformation.
With fresh water now flowing nearby, students can focus more on learning and less on water-fetching journeys. Families and the school community enjoy better health and hygiene, and the well supports gardens and sanitation projects that nurture growth and resilience.
This project stands as a testament to the change that happens when partnerships unite purpose and effort to meet real needs, uplifting lives and creating lasting impact for generations to come.
